Great view of the orchestra but a little obstructed by the pillar.

Last row of Grand Circel. Edge of the middle section. We had seat next to the entry gantry and the one next to it (G58 and 59). Great view of the whole stage. Would recommend and choose again.

good seat pretty high up not great if your bad with heights but good view
Good seats in the upper circle, can see the whole stage. I wasn't bothered by the railing which obscures view a bit. Fine for a concert. Legroom tight. Sound excellent.

Ok for listening to orchestra. Very little legroom, no drink holders but good bar. A real squeeze for middle-seated latecomers. Seats are steeply structured, mild vertigo. Tip: Large ladies bathroom in the basement, but not so for Gents.

At the very back high up but great view and nobody behind. Easy access to the stairs.

View ok of stage except missing 20% of Right side. Very limited legroom - about 4” from front edge of seat to seat back in front. People with large legs or any kind of restricted movement DO NOT BOOK THESE SEATS. Very Uncomfortable hard seats.
Think the pic says it all about the view from my seat. Picked up ticket from the box office, noticed it said “limited view of left side of the stage”. An understatement. Can’t remember if that was highlighted when ticket purchased - it was 2 years ago (covid!!). The Usher Hall in Edinburgh is a classy venue and the stalls, and central parts of the circles will have good views, but it also has some really lousy seating due to the semi-oval shape of the upper circle, which, as seen, severely restricts the view, added to which is the (probably legally required) safety railing. The grand circle below is a near identical shape but doesn’t have the rail other than at the bottom of staircases and then it is one level, I.E. not the double height right in my eyeline. Add to that the wooden seats have a layer of material which has all the cushioning qualities of a sheet of paper. I wouldn’t be put off going to the Usher, but only if I can get a choice of seat.

Good view as long as someone tall isn't in front of you.
