Stage looks closer than in photo. V gd seat, legroom OK
  • Edinburgh Playhouse, section: balcony, row: E, seat: 33
Surprisingly good seat. A good option for music or comedy but I'd probably want to be in Stalls or Circle for musical theatre. Not much leg room for tall people

Great seat in the circle. End of aisle so lots of legroom. Could not see action in extreme left of stage but was only minimal loss. I generally prefer stalls but some sight lines at Playhouse are bad in stalls. Circle safer bet.
  • Usher Hall, section: upper circle, row: C, seat: 62
Good seats in the upper circle, can see the whole stage. I wasn't bothered by the railing which obscures view a bit. Fine for a concert. Legroom tight. Sound excellent.

Best seat I've ever had at the Playhouse some of the sightlines are terrible as there's not much of a rake - this was excellent
