When you buy ticket it says this view is obstructed and less legroom. The view is barely obstructed, just a small railing on the barrier in front of you which you can easily look over. There is not much leg room but you can tilt legs to aisle to add room

While it'd be more fair to give 4 stars (you have to crane your neck up, and the actor can hide behind boxy equipment if they go upstage), being so close at THIS show made it all the more wonderful. Your mileage may vary depending on what you see!
Good Vieew, but a long way from the stage. Note the the next seat to the right would have a pole affecting the view. Seating chart shows which seats are impacted by view. https://www.carnegiehall.org/About/Building-Overview/Seating-Charts#&gid=1&pid=2

A pretty great view. Was able to see Patti's facial expressions clearly when she would sing on this side of the stage.
Great view. Horrible feet room — none. They are pushed backwards under my chair. Potentially worst feet room I've ever encountered and I've sat balconies in almost all 41 Broadway houses. Knee room is fine, youre above the seat in front. But ouch at my poor feet and knees!

Ticket did say Obstructed View. It was okay, only could see 80% of stage, and had to move my high chair around to get into a position to see.
Seat is pretty bad for a performance like this, could barely see the whole time. Comedians were fun though. Guessing seats would be better for an orchestra, would be able to see at least some of it.

Great sound! Cannot see facial expressions though. Left corner of stage is also partially obstructed.
Video. Great seat in the front row of the box on the far left side against the divider with Box 47. Clear view of the entire stage. The box has an antechamber with a mirror and coat hooks. Stunning view of the theater's interior.

This seat is terrible. You can't see the stage if you sit normally. You have to lean forward quite a bit to see any of the stage. Sound is great. Vantage point would be awesome if the front wall wasn't blocking the view.

Good view for a recital! The column would get partially in the way of a large orchestra. The sound is a bit blocked my the overhang though.

Great sound as always in the balcony - slightly obstructed view.

Very nice seat. Its much closer than the picture shows. Decent legroom. Comfy seat.

This specific seat has a bar blocking the view. The rest of the row was great, even this seat was despite! The sound was impeccable.

This seat is the front of the box and labeled Row/Box 2, Seat 1 on the ticket. Great seat with a great view. Would definitely sit here again.
Section Box 1
Good view of the orchestra, however, the drummer and screen were not visible. Sound was great.
