Good Vieew, but a long way from the stage. Note the the next seat to the right would have a pole affecting the view. Seating chart shows which seats are impacted by view. https://www.carnegiehall.org/About/Building-Overview/Seating-Charts#&gid=1&pid=2

This specific seat has a bar blocking the view. The rest of the row was great, even this seat was despite! The sound was impeccable.

Great view. Horrible feet room — none. They are pushed backwards under my chair. Potentially worst feet room I've ever encountered and I've sat balconies in almost all 41 Broadway houses. Knee room is fine, youre above the seat in front. But ouch at my poor feet and knees!

Good view for a recital! The column would get partially in the way of a large orchestra. The sound is a bit blocked my the overhang though.

Great acoustics and view but not much legroom.

Excellent seats, great sound. Not for people who have trouble with heights.

Half the stage is obstructed, but Carnegie Hall is still stunning!

Pole only slightly obscures stage right. Rest is in great view. Worth it in my opinion. Roe starts with seat 2. Seat 3 may not see the pole at all
  • Carnegie Hall, section: Dress Circle FR, row: BB, seat: 92
This is the view when leaning forward in your seat - sitting back the view is quite obstructed. The sound is fantastic though.
  • Carnegie Hall, section: Dress Circle FR, row: BB, seat: 92
Sound is great - this is the view sitting back in the seat but you can lean forward for a better view (no one is behind you).

Do not sit here. You have to lean forward which then blocks the view of person behind you. I went to the box office and complained about these full price tickets not marked partial view. I got center balcony instead and they credited me the difference.

Just awful. Not marked as partial view or obstructed. Paid full price for this and you’d have to lean forward and crane your neck to see singer at microphone. Changed seats to center Balcony before the show started.

Great view. No room for feet.
