  • Ordway Music Theater, section: Orchestra, row: M, seat: 208
    Damn Yankees
One of the best seats in the house. I could see the full set, yet I felt immensely close to the action.
  • The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts - Mortensen Hall, section: Mezzanine B, row: D, seat: 108
    Kinky Boots
Note: Photo was taken standing up. In my opinion, The Bushnell is one of the worst places to see a touring Broadway production. Mortensen Hall is set up as an orchestral concert hall, and thus the mezzanine and balcony are really far back. This vantage point is from the front-left mezzanine and the views and sound were still sub-par.
  • Vivian Beaumont Theater, section: Loge R, row: A, seat: 501
    The King and I
Good view, though the proscenium arch will cut off a bit of stage left. I wouldn't recommend sitting much further to the right. I took this photo lower than eye-level to avoid a hawkish usher; the lip of the Loge **WON'T** block your view.
  • Studio 54, section: Rear Mezzanine LC, row: JJ, seat: 105
    Cabaret
The views from the rear mezzanine aren't bad at Studio 54, though the sound design in the theatre is not the best. Note that "Cabaret" was in a thrust stage setup, which may not be the case for all shows at Studio 54.
  • Rentschler Field, section: 109, row: 4, seat: 5
    USMNT vs Costa Rica
Great seat if you like to see goals scored close up and if you like the energy of a supporter's section. These are the "cheap seats". FYI: This endline is more elevated than the scoreboard endline.
  • Lyric Theatre, section: Orchestra L, row: N, seat: 23
    On the Town
Note: This photo was taken using panoramic/photo sphere perspective. I could see most of the action and could hear everything just fine, but I found it distracting that the proscenium arch cut off stage right and that I could see offstage on stage left.

    She Loves Me
Even in the rear mezzanine, this seat had a great view. I could see everything, though the sound was a bit garbled due to the poor sound design of Studio 54 (including the lack of an orchestra pit, meaning the band is spread across the box seats). The seats are also a bit tight. However, I still count "She Loves Me" to be amongst the best Broadway experiences I've ever had, so, in retrospect, the seats couldn't have been THAT bad. :-)
  • Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: Q, seat: 112
    The Humans
Wonderful seat that I was lucky enough to get via ticket lottery. I could see the entire two-story set. Far back enough that I could take in the perspective of the entire stage; close enough where I could still see the actors' expressions clearly.
  • Music Box Theatre, section: Standing Room, seat: 6
    Dear Evan Hansen
Standing Room "seats" at the Music Box Theatre are known to be amongst the best on Broadway. I can only concur. Sightlines will be slightly cut off from the mezzanine overhang but not nearly enough to feel like you're missing out on anything of significance. Standing Room is definitely the best way to see Dear Evan Hansen without emptying your wallet.
