  • Samuel J. Friedman Theatre, section: Mezzanine C, row: E, seat: 118
    Stephen Sondheim's Old Friends
Clear view of everything. Facial expressions can be better seen with closer seats, but you can tell who's who from here.
  • Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, section: Middle Mezzanine L, row: C, seat: 115
    Death Becomes Her
You could see everything from this position. Sometimes the things at the very front get blocked if the person in front leans forward too much (as in my case).
  • Palace Theatre, Broadway, section: Orchestra R, row: Z, seat: 102
    Glengarry Glen Ross
Great seat even though it's near the back of the orchestra. Maybe two rows closer would be better to see facial expressions, but this is still great for this production that has larger-than-life actors. Super near the exits and the bathrooms.
  • Mainstage at the New York City Center, section: Mezzanine C, row: B, seat: 114
    Ragtime
Seat is perfect. You see faces, you see choreography, you don't lose anything. Very centered.
  • Laura Pels Theatre, section: Orchestra, row: L, seat: 10
    The Counter
Great view of everything. Small theater so I don't think there's a bad seat in this house.
  • Eugene O'Neill Theatre, section: Mezzanine R, row: J, seat: 14
    The Book of Mormon
Seats are generally cheaper than usual because of the smaller legroom (be warned). Great view though and you can still see everything.

  • Booth Theatre, section: Orchestra L, row: C, seat: 9
    Kimberly Akimbo
Right next to the speakers but sound is not deafening. Crystal clear view of what's onstage. This musical does not have complex choreography so you don't miss anything sitting way up close. You could see the tears on the actors' faces.
  • Westside Theatre Upstairs, section: Orchestra C, row: R, seat: 108
    Little Shop of Horrors
Second to the last row. Facial expressions are not as visible, but clear view of the sides of the theatre which comes into play during the second act. Is not raised enough for tall people in front to not block your view.
  • Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, section: Orchestra L, row: N, seat: 9
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street
Good sight lines. You can clearly see actors' facial expressions. A lot of the action occurs in centre right and downstage right so you have a clear view of all of it. The people in the bridge above are visible.
  • Vivian Beaumont Theater, section: Orchestra R, row: H, seat: 505
    Uncle Vanya
Excellent seats. Clear view of all action points. The actors normally face all directions and whichever side you're on, you'll miss the facial expression of one of two people talking, but there are no obstructions. Legroom is a bit cramped.
  • Hayes Theater, section: Orchestra C, row: K, seat: 106
    Mother Play
Great seat. Excellent view. Acoustics are great.
  • Todd Haimes Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: G, seat: 107
    Doubt: A Parable
Excellent seat. Right in the middle. You can clearly see the actors and no action is missed. Best seat in the house in my opinion.
