  • St. James Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: J, seat: 104
    New York, New York
The St. James is a deep theater with a wide center Orchestra. Row J is the 9th row, just below the mezzanine overhang and is the front of the "rear Orchestra" where the prices often drop. It's a good value seat, especially for a "big" show.
  • Keswick Theatre, section: Pit, row: AAA, seat: HC
Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew tour: Remain In Light
This is a special handicap seat in the "pit" for wheelchair-bound guests who can't transfer to a regular seat. You have to call the box office to arrange. Wonderful but bring ear plugs!
  • Shubert Theatre, section: Orchestra R, row: B, seat: 4
    Some Like It Hot
Orch Center would of course be better but the stage here is set back, so it's not a terrible place to sit, particularly if you just prefer to sit up close, which I do.
  • Hudson Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: G, seat: 106
    Death of a Salesman
    Excellent seat. No complaints.
  • New York Theatre Workshop, section: Orchestra, row: C, seat: 7
    Merrily We Roll Along
Not a bad seat in the house
  • New York Theatre Workshop, section: Orchestra, row: C, seat: 7
    Merrily We Roll Along
    No bad seats in here

  • Stephen Sondheim Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: N, seat: 103
    & Juliet
Not a bad seat in the house. This is a modern, well-raked theater Side Orch is fine too. Stage is high so try to sit row C or further back.
  • August Wilson Theatre, section: Orchestra L, row: F, seat: 3
    Funny Girl
The August Wilson is a narrow theater, and center Orchestra is fairly narrow compared to other Broadway houses, so the side orch near the aisle is better here than at other houses. The stage is high so I would avoid row A.
  • Classic Stage Company, section: 300s, row: C, seat: 302
    A Man of No Importance
No bad seats in this theater, really. It's quite intimate.
  • Booth Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: C, seat: 116
    Kimberly Akimbo
C 116 is dead center and pretty much as good as it gets
  • Booth Theatre, section: Mezzanine C, row: A, seat: 114
    Kimberly Akimbo
Mezzanine is high (and steeply raked), but close (overhangs row H)
  • Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: H, seat: 117

  • Barrymore Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: D, seat: 115
    The Piano Lesson
The Barrymore has a very wide Center Orchestra section, particularly in the first 8 or so rows before it tapers in a little. Center Orchestra OR aisle seats on either of the side sections offer good views of any show.
  • Barrymore Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: D, seat: 115
    The Piano Lesson
  • Nationals Park, section: 131, row: WW, seat: 3
Washington Nationals vs Los Angeles Dodgers
Wheelchair accessible, but anybody can sit here. If you don't have a wheelchair, nice padded chairs are provided. Extra comfortable if you are a large person, or if you don't like to stand. The seats are also under an overhang so you are protected from the inclement weather.
  • Nationals Park, section: 409, row: D, seat: 3
    Washington Nationals
Section 409 is a fantastic bargain infield seat. The lower-numbered seats in this section are basically right next to the press box. Much better views than the 222-239 sections out in right field. Home plate below and giant scoreboard straight ahead.
  • Nationals Park, section: 128, row: BB, seat: 5
    Washington Nationals
