  • Music Box Theatre, section: Mezzanine R, row: G, seat: 2
    The Picture of Dorian Gray
Sitting on the side but getting an aisle seats is a good budget way for a short person to ensure a clear view. This is a small theater so there are no bad seats but the mezzanine is steeply raked, so closer rows than this are of course better.
  • Music Box Theatre, section: Mezzanine C, row: D, seat: 101
    The Picture of Dorian Gray
The theater isn't big and the mezzanine isn't far back, but it is steeply raked so the first few rows up here are best. Depending on the show, Mezzanine rows D can be a good value seat compared to sitting towards the back of the orchestra.
  • Music Box Theatre, section: Mezzanine C, row: A, seat: 101
    The Picture of Dorian Gray
Great views from the first few mezzanine rows, but the rake is steep so the closer the better
  • Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, section: Mezzanine C, row: A, seat: 101
    Buena Vista Social Club
A little high but overhangs row K. Not bad.
  • Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: B, seat: 113
    Buena Vista Social Club
Stage isn't too high. Orchestra isn't very raked so this is a great seat as long as you don't have a super tall person in front of you. Leg room is generous for Broadway.
  • Longacre Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: C, seat: 111
    Dead Outlaw
    Pretty ideal seat

  • Majestic Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: B, seat: 111
    Gypsy
This is the front row for Gypsy and you'd think it would be too close but the stage isn't too high so unless you're short it's an excellent seat. Most action in this show is set back behind the orchestra. You're only "looking up" at the performers a few times.
  • Samuel J. Friedman Theatre, section: Orchestra L, row: F, seat: 111
    Stephen Sondheim's Old Friends
Small, narrow, deep theater. Not many bad views here.
  • Vivian Beaumont Theater, section: Orchestra L, row: H, seat: 101
    Floyd Collins
For Floyd Collins, it pays to be on the left side as close as possible to the stage. That's where Jeremy Jordan spends most of the show, "trapped" in place.
  • Vivian Beaumont Theater, section: Orchestra L, row: H, seat: 102
    Floyd Collins
There are no bad seats in this theater, but for Floyd Collins, you want to sit as close as possible on the left side. That's where Jeremy Jordan spends most of the show, stuck.
  • Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, section: Orchestra R, row: E, seat: 2
    Death Becomes Her
Nice value seat for this theater. Seat 2 is on the aisle and unobstructed. I recommend this aisle seat, esp. between rows D through L.
  • Belasco Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: E, seat: 106
    Maybe Happy Ending
Row A here is set back a bit from the stage, but the Belasco stage is high, so row D or back is my preferred seat here. For Maybe Happy Ending, there are benefits to sitting as center as possible, and toward the middle of Orch C. Rows D-N are all good.

  • Palace Theatre, Broadway, section: Orchestra L, row: A, seat: 103
    Glengarry Glen Ross
The Palace is an intimate narrow center orchestra with a center aisle. There are no bad orchestra seats in these two center sections. The stage for this production is low and even row AA is set back and not too close.
  • Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre, section: ORCHESTRA C, row: F, seat: 114
    The Outsiders
The center orchestra at the Jacobs is very wide. If you can get center orchestra, do it.
  • Lyceum Theatre, Broadway, section: ORCHESTRA L, row: K, seat: 13
    Oh, Mary!
The Lyceum is a tiny theater and there are no really bad orchestra seats, but if you're going to sit in the side orchestra, it's better to be this far back rather than in the first 4 rows (especially if you're not in the aisle)
  • Love Theatre - The Mirage, section: 209, row: P, seat: 12
    The Beatles LOVE
This is not really a Cirque du Soleil show. Not a lot of talent. More costumes and lights.
  • Love Theatre - The Mirage, section: 209, row: P, seat: 12
    The Beatles LOVE
Dead center. Expensive, but cheaper than the 2 rows in front. Far from the exit, but there's no intermission, so practically as good as sitting on the opposite side.
  • O Theatre, section: 203, row: Q, seat: 10
    O by Cirque du Soleil
Best seat in the theater if you never want to look behind you. Also a value sweet spot. And nobody in front of you. Great seat.
  • Music Box Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: E, seat: 113
    Suffs
The Music Box is a very intimate theater. Hardly a bad seat in the house, though the center orchestra section is quite wide.
  • Music Box Theatre, section: Mezzanine C, row: A, seat: 103
    Suffs
Mezzanine is very close in this theater. Overhangs row J
