  • Circle in the Square Theatre, section: Orchestra 100 (Odd), row: D, seat: 119
    An Enemy of the People
No bad seats in this theater
  • Nederlander Theatre, section: Orchestra R, row: J, seat: 2
    The Who's Tommy
In this small theater, the entire center orchestra can be priced as "premium." That makes this side aisle seat an exceptional value, relatively. Clear views and not far from center.
  • John Golden Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: C, seat: 107
    Stereophonic
Small theater. For this show the stage is higher and deeper then usual. Row C is 2nd row. You look up & the "studio" behind the glass is partially obscured, so first few rows are cheaper, but I'd buy them again because it's an intimate show & you're close!
  • Music Box Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: C, seat: 104
    Purlie Victorious
Great seat. Actually 4th row for this show. The stage isn't too high. Note that the center orchestra in this theater is quite wide, so generally preferred over sides.
  • The Newman Mills Theater, section: ORCH, row: D, seat: 17
    The Connector
There's truly not a bad seat in the house. Lots of legroom, too. You can't go wrong in this theater.
  • Mainstage at the New York City Center, section: Orchestra C, row: CC, seat: 104
    Once Upon A Mattress
Very close and just a bit to the side but you see everything. The stage isn't high. Would sit here again.

  • New York City Center, section: Orchestra Center, row: CC, seat: 104
    Once Upon A Mattress
Very close and a bit to the side but the stage is low and you see absolutely everything well. A good seat.
  • Classic Stage Company, section: 200, row: D, seat: 211
I Can Get It For You Wholesale
No bad seats in this theater. NOTE: D211 is NOT an aisle seat. Rows C, D, and E have a bar on the right side and NO stairs down. You are a bit trapped and must enter/exit on the other side of the aisle. Not an easy in/out to the bathroom.
  • Barrymore Theatre, section: Orchestra L, row: K, seat: 3
    Harmony: A New Musical
The Barrymore theater is small, and the Center Orchestra is very wide, so unless you want to pay top dollar, these side orchestra seats closest to the aisle are a decent choice
  • Barrymore Theatre, section: Orchestra L, row: K, seat: 3
    Harmony: A New Musical
  • Nationals Park, section: 128, row: N, seat: 8
    Washington Nationals vs Oakland Athletics
Best section at Nationals Park. These seats are close enough to the field and centered enough from the aisle that you never have anybody blocking your view OR climbing over you throughout the game.
  • Nationals Park, section: 128, row: L, seat: 9
    Washington Nationals vs Pittsburgh Pirates
Dugout Box 128 is the best "regular" section in the ballpark. Seat #9 (in all rows) is right on top of the stadium expansion joint, so that seat can be a little slanted. If you can sit on either side of seat #9, your back will be happier.

  • Nationals Park, section: 128, row: N, seat: 8
    Washington Nationals
Row N is the 5th row of the Dugout Box section, and the 10th row overall behind the dugout. Best views of any "regular" seats in the ballpark. Very close to the action. These seats in the middle of the row are never obstructed by anybody in the aisles.
  • The Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater, section: Orchestra C, row: C, seat: 104
    Monty Python's Spamalot
These are premium priced seats for a reason.
  • Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: G, seat: 110
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street
Seat 110 is dead center. The Sweeney stage is high, so row G (7th row) is pretty ideal.
  • Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre, section: Orchestra R, row: D, seat: 8
    Parade
This is normally a better seat because the Jacobs stage is low, but not for Parade, where they perform much of the show on a platform above an elevated stage. Front of mezzanine would be the better seats for this stupid set design.
  • Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: E, seat: 101
    Parade
Normally a great start but this absurd set for Parade has most of the action 6 feet above the stage. So don't sit close. Front row Mezz would be better.
  • Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre, section: Orchestra R, row: D, seat: 8
    Parade
Row D seat 8 is a bit further to the side than is ideal. The Jacobs stage is usually low so close up is usually OK but this Parade set is jacked up 2 feet for some stupid reason which is terrible.
  • Vivian Beaumont Theater, section: Orchestra L, row: N, seat: 102
    Camelot
Sightlines at the Beaumont are generally good all around, but because it's a thrust stage, side aisle seats like this don't give you the unobstructed view you get on the side aisle of a more traditional proscenium stage.
  • Longacre Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: B, seat: 106
    Leopoldstadt
The Longacre is small but WIDE with a wide Center Orchestra section and a low stage. Row B is the 3rd row and great for a drama, maybe a bit close for a show with big production numbers, depending on your taste.
