  • Royal Opera House, section: Donald Gordon Grand Tier, row: B, seat: 7
    Il Trovatore
Excellent excellent seats. Although slight caveat, only paid £25 for these £235 seats using the Young ROH scheme. If the opportunity arose again I would most likely seek to purchase a seat in the stalls wanting to be closer
  • Les Miserables
Great seats despite the big overhang. Wouldn't pay for this seat again without the discount I got on London Theatre Direct
  • The Lion King
Again, no point in paying for the cheap seats. As the clip shows (albeit terrible camera skills) one can barely make out the actors faces. In big theatre's such as the Lyceum, Palladium or Apollo, you have to pay top drawer to get slightly decent seats
  • Wicked
Back back row, difficult to make out faces. Would not recommend people pay. No point in spending £30 to seat at the top at the back especially in such a large theatre. The smaller theatres on the West End you can get away with the cheap seats. Not this
  • The Lyric Theatre at The Lowry, section: Upper Circle, row: C, seat: 33
Dara Ó Briain tour: So... Where Were We?
Great view, v comfy, lovely ambience

    Noises Off
amazing legroom with comfy seats and truly unrivalled view. feels close to stage but the overhang doesn't affect the view at all
  • Sondheim Theatre, West End, section: Grand Circle, row: D, seat: 3
    Les Miserables
I was shocked as to how good these seats are. You can clearly see the actor's faces but you do miss a few fleeting moments due to the side view
  • The Magic Flute
Never sat so close to the stage! brilliant seats. You do miss literally a few seconds of a few scenes but the entirety of the performance is visible
