This angle is taken after I moved my seat to the right. You are in slightly elevated chairs but when sitting directly behind someone you cannot see the stage ( I'm 6 ft for reference and struggled). If you can get the front K would recommend that more!
View when you're standing up in this seat - which is possible only because you're in the last row. Otherwise this seat has a very obstructed view, and is sold/marked as partial view. Great value though for music when the view doesn't matter.
This is the view sitting fully back in your seat - sold at a lower price and specifically marked partial view. Sound is fantastic though, so it's great for listening. And it's the last row here, so you can lean forward/stand up too for a fuller view.
Better sound than my seat earlier in the open rehearsal, Parquet L P-5 where the sound was flat. This seat had fuller sound with more extended lower frequencies than P-5. However, the balcony overhang did compress the soundstage vertically.

Comments & Tips
Section Parquet L
Rather close to stage. Good view of pianists hands from behind. But sound of the piano was not clear relative to acoustics of the orchestra.

Section Lower Balcony L
No view of pianist but good acoustics
Section Box 5
Seat 1 on the left, 2 in the middle, 3 on the right. Great view from here.
One of my favorite places to sit. Either Box 5 or Box 7 first row on the railing.
Section Box 39
Great sound, amazing view. Padded straight back chair. Limited legroom.
Amazing acousitcs, great view. Not great legroom.
Section Second ring
Great seat
Section Dress Circle C
Excellent seats, great sound. Not for people who have trouble with heights.
Section Parquet R
Good view of principles. Can't see much of the back of the orchestra. Acoustic were good, perhaps better in balcony. Roomier seats than balcony.
Section Dress Circle FR
Half the stage is obstructed, but Carnegie Hall is still stunning!
Section Lower Balcony RC
Bottom right portion of stage is obstructed by balcony railing. Excellent sound in balcony, as usual for Carnegie.

Terrific seat, great sound, more spacious than non-box seats. Had to sit up a bit taller to see clearly over the person in front.

These seats are terrible, you can’t see the stage at all, no idea why these are even offered as an option.
