Not horrible fkr the price you pay. Cheapest in section and against the wall. Ya get what you pay for, and its not a bad deal!

Lottery win! My first time at The Palace and it was lovely! These seats were far back, but we had clear view of the stage. Nice roomy seats too! The only downside was that you could sometimes hear noise from the lobby.

03/21/2026 - Equity Tour - IMO, this show isn't designed for a balcony experience, but this was still a pretty decent seat. I could see facial expressions clearly, but my partner couldn't. YMMV. If you're doing balcony, 3rd row (C) is best.

  • Emerson Colonial Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: L, seat: 113

There was no one in front of me so I had a great view, but the orchestra doesn't have the best rake so if someone's sitting in front of you their head could be in your way. Leg room is okay-ish.

Floor is too flat, so people in previous row(s) can easily obstruct view. I recommend sitting several rows further back because the pitch increases toward the back of the room. Leg room is tight, but acceptable for average-height people.

I wouldn't want to sit any closer or further back. I say that because the window on stage is a sound booth where the actors perform a lot of the show from. I could see them great from this seat!

Full view of the stage framed by a sloping ceiling
  • National Theatre, DC, section: Orchestra R, row: M, seat: 14

Seat largely a good view, but the orchestra level is rather flat. I am short so I had to lean side to side of the person in front of me to see the stage.

Be warned. Terrible seat if someone sits in front of you. Next to impossible to see the stage.

Lottery seats. Incredible view — the back recording studio stage right is cut off, but that's only relevant maybe one or twice. You can see the actors so well when they are sitting on the bean bags.

Lottery win seat. This was rough. Good view of the stage and no balcony overhang, but the air circulation was poor and the legroom was awful. I'm 5'10” and my friend is 5'3” and both of us managed to be too tall. There was a lottt of stretching in the entire section during intermission.
