• University of Tasmania Stadium, section: NT8, row: N, seat: 102
    Foo Fighters tour: Take Cover
The stage was set up at the middle of the oval, as opposed to on the end, so I was pretty far away, but the view was still good. Feel pretty lucky to have gotten tickets and the Foos played a lot of wonderful deep cuts.
  • Rod Laver Arena, section: 23, row: PP, seat: 592
Tyler, The Creator tour: Chromakopia The World Tour
Very back row of the venue. Rod Laver is a small arena, so the end of the stage (where he spent the most time) was over 3/4ths of the way across the floor. Amazing performance.
  • Melbourne Cricket Ground, section: Q20
    Hawthorn Hawks vs Essendon Bombers
Round 1. Level 4 seating, yet perfect to catch all the action on the pitch. There's a reason this place is regarded as the greatest sports ground.
  • Plenary Theatre, section: A Reserve, row: YY, seat: 58
PJ Harvey tour: I Inside The Old Year Dying
Spellbinding show. The sound inside the Plenary was quite good, however the seating section is a little far from the stage, even from my A reserve seats. Gig was supposedly sold out and yet there was a lot of room on the floor as well.
  • Sidney Myer Music Bowl, section: Stalls 5, row: M, seat: 48
    Thom Yorke tour: Everything
Night 2 of the melbourne Thom Yorke gigs. He was really into it on this night.
  • Sidney Myer Music Bowl, section: Stalls 5, row: O, seat: 60
    Thom Yorke tour: Everything
First night of the melbourne Thom Yorke gigs. Brilliant venue for this type of gig.

  • Margaret Court Arena, section: 14, row: E, seat: 227
Queens of the Stone Age tour: Villains Tour
Margaret Court Arena converts nicely from a tennis court to a concert venue. Queens were incredible in spite of Josh contracting food poisoning before the show.
  • Rod Laver Arena, section: 14, row: M, seat: 225
    Midnight Oil tour: RESIST
Rod Laver Arena is probably the best you can get when it comes to large commercial sports arenas.
  • John Cain Arena, section: 7, row: J, seat: 313
    The Strokes
This seat was marked as restricted view on Ticketek, yet in real life you can see everything perfectly. The Strokes were fantastic and played for much longer than I assumed they would.
  • Palais Theatre, section: Stalls, row: G, seat: 14
Midnight Oil tour: One For The Planet
Palais Theatre is a great venue. Midnight Oil was/is an amazing band. Was great to see them bolt through 10-1 in such an intimate setting
  • John Cain Arena, section: 8, row: L, seat: 334
Weezer tour: Indie Rock Road Trip
    Good venue, Weezer killed it.
  • AAMI Park, section: 24, row: L, seat: 462
Foo Fighters tour: Everything Or Nothing At All
Playing at the end of the catwalk during Night 2 of the Foo Fighters' gigs in Melbourne. A very kind staff member upgraded our tickets as our previous ones (Section 30) were restricted view.

Odd, intimate ballroom. Seating layout could've been less cramped.
  • Sidney Myer Music Bowl, section: Stalls 5, row: U, seat: 48
Queens of the Stone Age tour: The End Is Nero Tour
Great seats, amazing performance. Right in front of the mixing desk
