  • Gillian Lynne Theatre, section: Stalls, row: L, seat: 53
    My Neighbour Totoro
Studio Ghibli goodness in the West End up close!
  • Vaudeville Theatre, section: Dress Circle, row: J, seat: 4
    Six
Really enjoyed the J-Pop version of Six.
  • Vaudeville Theatre, section: Dress Circle, row: J, seat: 4
    Six
Japanese production. There's screens with the translated words.
  • Duke of York's Theatre, section: Stalls, row: Q, seat: 11
    Stereophonic
Not the Stereophonics. The seat is OK, but maybe too much for a 3 hour performance. Also fairly expensive even though I got a money off deal for it.
  • Churchill Theatre, section: Stalls, row: S, seat: 4
    DocDoc
Good view at the back for just £20.
  • Riverside Studios, section: Stalls, row: G, seat: 25
    Here You Come Again
My last event of 2024 is this fun Dolly Parton jukebox musical, playing off the West End.

  • Noël Coward Theatre, section: Balcony, row: C, seat: 18
    Dr. Strangelove
Not ideal for those with a fear of heights, and I couldn't see the top of the stage, but the seat was decent and I could see the actors well enough.
  • Gillian Lynne Theatre, section: Stalls, row: T, seat: 40
    Standing at the Sky's Edge
Overhang cut off the top of the staging, but hardly anything happened up there. Great clear view otherwise.
  • Apollo Theatre, section: Dress Circle, row: E, seat: 15
    Fawlty Towers
Seat is very tight on the knees and calves in this section, but I have had worse. View is good, clearer than the view of Torquay from the bedroom window of this play's hotel.
  • Harold Pinter Theatre, section: Dress Circle, row: D, seat: 8
    The Hills of California
Good view of the stage, occasional heads in the way though, and although I've had less comfortable seats and leg room, I've had far better than this too.
  • Wyndham's Theatre, section: Grand Circle, row: D, seat: 13
    Long Day's Journey into Night
An occasional head might get in the way, but not too bad up here, can see most of the stage.
  • Churchill Theatre, section: Stalls, row: R, seat: 19
    Grease
Good leg room and elevated. The stage lights go right into my eyes in this position though.

Mind Mangler: Member of the Tragic Circle
This is next door to the Lyric Theatre, and has far more comfortable seats. Dead centre too.
  • Lyric Theatre, West End, section: Grand Circle, row: B, seat: 7
    Hadestown
OK view, but it's a bad seat especially for big and tall people like me, no leg room whatsoever. The Lyric opened in 1888 when people were much smaller.
  • Adelphi Theatre, section: Dress Circle, row: M, seat: 28
    Back To The Future
Leg room was a bit tight, but I've experienced worse at other London theatres. View was excellent.
  • Fortune Theatre, section: Stalls, row: L, seat: 8
    Operation Mincemeat
£25 lottery ticket for a matinee performance. I've certainly had worse theatre seats even though I'm at the back.
  • Garrick Theatre, section: Stalls, row: R, seat: 14
    The Crown Jewels
Bit of an overhang, but I can still see most of the stage, plus the seat is actually comfortable.
  • Victoria Palace Theatre, section: Royal Circle, row: G, seat: 38
    Hamilton
Really great view of the stage, and decent leg room too.
  • Noël Coward Theatre, section: Royal Circle, row: A, seat: 28
    Best of Enemies
Really entertaining play, properly hammed up.
