  • Sutter Theatre at The Sofia, section: L, row: J, seat: 3
    An Irish Goodbye
When it comes to seeing the stage, there's no bad seats in such a small theater (and also the seats are assigned instead of chosen). However, this seat is directly over one of the walkways. That shouldn't be an issue for a one person show, but might be a minimal issue for a show that involves characters utilizing the walkways for appearances.
  • Harris Center, section: Balcony Center, row: HH, seat: 106
    Clue: A New Comedy
Feels closer than it looks in the photo. Pretty good view of the stage at a mid-range price.
  • SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center, section: Orchestra R, row: D, seat: 10
    Beetlejuice
Great view of the caption board while not being so close it feels like i cant see the whole stage.
  • SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center, section: Upper Balcony, row: K, seat: 149
    Beetlejuice
Good view of the full stage, but be aware some of the stage lights will occasionally shine directly in your face.
  • The Sofia - Mainstage Theatre, section: L, row: D, seat: 9
    Misery
There isnt really a bad seat in The Sofia since (especially since this is the smaller stage), though at this angle the door area blocks off a bit of the scene.
  • San Jose Center For The Performing Arts, section: Orchestra R, row: 2, seat: 29
    The Wiz
Great view of the open caption screen. Note that being this close up, you'll miss out on any floor details due to looking up at the stage.

    Moulin Rouge
A part of the cheap seats in the back you're not going to see any up close details but you can see a full view of the stage and the effects. If you want best of both worlds (cheap far/full view and up close detail), consider bringing binoculars.
