  • Princess Theatre, Melbourne, section: Dress Circle, row: A, seat: 10
    The Book of Mormon
Good view, saw everything. Angle might bother some people. Seats left of here would start to lose sight of the left side of stage
  • Drama Theatre at the Sydney Opera House, section: Stalls, row: G, seat: 10
    The Play That Goes Wrong
Great views. Seats are tiered with no obstruction. In The Play That Goes Wrong there's some off-stage moments you're better off being a few rows back for.
  • Capitol Theatre, Sydney, section: Dress Circle, row: D, seat: 21
    The Book of Mormon
Good view, maybe slightly too high and can have minor head obstruction.
  • Regent Theatre, Melbourne, section: Dress Circle, row: B, seat: 36
    Beetlejuice
Good view. The stair rail isn't really noticeable and doesn't obstruct the view. The lights in the stairs might annoy you in dark scenes. Person in front might obstruct the view a little depending on their height. Sometimes they put this seat in the premium tier but it's not as good as the center seats - consider it if it's a cheaper tier!
  • Her Majesty's Theatre, Melbourne, section: Dress Circle, row: C, seat: 26
    Hadestown
Good view. Possibly slight obstruction of the very front of the stage, depending on person in front's height

    Wicked
Great seat, you are between the two seats in front of you so very clear view. If you have bad eye sight you might want to be a couple rows closer.
  • Comedy Theatre, section: Stalls, row: B, seat: 22
    And Then There Were None
Way too close, a lot of looking up and turning side to side. Seats in the center have more leg room than those on the edges. Heads in front of you block whole portions of the stage - the seats further back have a better incline
  • Her Majesty's Theatre, Melbourne, section: Stalls, row: D, seat: 25
    Beauty And The Beast
Up close and can see a lot of details in costumes and faces. Couldn't see anything on the left side of stage due to people's heads. Way too close to the left speakers which made everything loud. Missed some of the outside stage effects because they were to the side or behind us. This would be ok as a cheap seat but it's in their premium view section, so do yourself a favour and go further back or toward the middle.
  • Princess Theatre, Melbourne, section: Dress Circle, row: A, seat: 32
    Groundhog Day
Unobstructed view, didn't miss a thing. You can see the conductor in the pit, who does have a light on for their music, but it didn't affect anything. Some of this play's special effects might look more perfect with a straight on view.
  • Her Majesty's Theatre, Melbourne, section: Dress Circle, row: A, seat: 6
    2:22 A Ghost Story
Might miss minor things on the right side of the stage depending on the show
  • Her Majesty's Theatre, Melbourne, section: Dress Circle, row: A, seat: 31
    Death of a Salesman
Photo from chest height. Most adults wouldn't have any obstruction from the bar.

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street
Best seat in the theatre. You won't regret it.
