  • The New Vic, section: Orch C, row: B, seat: 101
Very close. Full view of stage. Above row A. Whole theatre well raked. Good legroom. On aisle. Score!
  • Broadhurst Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: Q, seat: 101
    Boop! The Musical
Aisle, slightly elevated above row in front, no one behind me. Further back than I usually choose, so facial expressions were less clear. Top of proscenium not visible but no action missed as a result. Good value.
  • Granada Theatre, section: OL, row: J, seat: 33
I am 5’8 and have a good foot of room. Great for tall people!
  • Granada Theatre, section: OL, row: J, seat: 33
    Ain't Too Proud
Extra legroom. Behind handicapped row. Aisle in front of them.
  • Westside Theatre Upstairs, section: Orchestra C, row: E, seat: 112
Well-raked theatre. Great views. Still, need good eyesight if far back.
  • Majestic Theatre, section: Orch, row: G
View looking back from row G —impressive raking for a Broadway venue!

  • Majestic Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: G, seat: 113
    Gypsy
Theatre is very well raked except for rows A-D. Aisle seat. Clear view of stage floor. Armrest on aisle raises. Sufficient legroom up to 6’ tall.
  • The New Vic, section: Right, row: G, seat: 2
    Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors
On Aisle, whole theatre is well raked. No aisle on far right side though, so seats 10-12 (and 9-11) are definitely against a wall. Pathway in front of row E so that row looks ideal. Front row: stage wt mid-torso so one can see feet, etc. And no neck crane.
  • Al Hirschfeld Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: M, seat: 101
    MOULIN ROUGE
Pretty good seat but too far for my eyes to see clearly. On aisle.
  • Al Hirschfeld Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: H, seat: 115
    MOULIN ROUGE
Excellent view, provided you don’t have a super tall person in front of you. Caveat: I took this photo standing, after the show, so it’s more for distance than view. Close enough to see expressions but not close enough to make eye contact.
  • St. James Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: H, seat: 101
    Illinoise
Beautiful perspective. A bit of a gamble depending on who is in front of you but I lucked out.
  • Winter Garden Theatre, section: Orchestra R, row: C, seat: 2
    Back to the Future
Excellent aisle seat! Seat in front was empty so had very clear view. Can be a bit loud. You can see actors’ subtle expressions and even catch their eye.

  • Broadway Theatre - 53rd Street, section: Orchestra R, row: E, seat: 1
    The Great Gatsby
Excellent. Close enough to really see character expressions. A bit below stage level so some shoes were visible only if I sat up a bit taller, but it was worth it to me to be close.
  • Garvin theatre, section: Orchestra, row: J, seat: 19
    Legally blonde
This seat is far left on aisle. An exceptional venue with multiple aisles, entry on top and below, and rows that are so elevated that everyone has a great view! My max is Row J/K before it’s too far for my eyes. Beware of Row F if you are over 5’4” tall.
  • Carpenter Performing Arts Center, section: Orchestra, row: H, seat: 44
    An American in Paris
Revised: stage left aisle, above floor of stage (first few seem below grade). Lots of legroom. No stairs for this row. Proximity to side hallway creates glare from hallway. Fast exit to lobby. Seat map makes it appear much more towards center than it is.
