  • John Golden Theatre, section: Rear Mezzanine L, row: D, seat: 113
    Operation Mincemeat
Cute little theater. Things feel closer than they look in photos. Not much legroom but ok for the shorties (5.3 and under). Longer legs will feel cramped. Kind of luck of the draw if someone tall sits in front of you and blocks your view. A tall guy two rows up blocked my stage right.
  • Madison Square Garden, section: 227, row: 10, seat: 14
Lady Gaga tour: The Mayhem Ball
Was expecting a terrible view based on other reviews complaining about the speakers hanging over the side of the stage. While the speakers are dumb and annoying, it wasn't that bad. We were still totally locked in on Gaga, who is truly one of our greatest living performers.
  • Broadway Theatre - 53rd Street, section: Rear Mezzanine RC, row: D, seat: 9
    The Great Gatsby
Looks far in the photo but it felt closer. Good sightlines. Got to see Jeremy Jordan's last bow, in fact!
  • New World Stages - Stage 3, section: Mezzanine L, row: B, seat: 13
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
Feels closer than the photo looks. Good visibility and a small theater so no seat is terrible. Probably would have enjoyed a closer orchestra seat to be more immersed in the show.
  • Forest Hills Stadium, section: 801, row: L, seat: 5
    Chappell Roan tour: Popup Shows
Good view, great stadium. Would sit here again. Happy to have the bleacher seats for the openers but did not sit once Chappell started her set! Three people in the row ahead of us rented the portable seat backs and kind of leaned back too far into my legs. Annoying but not a permanent feature of this seat.
  • Belasco Theatre, section: Orchestra L, row: O, seat: 11
    Maybe Happy Ending
Pretty good orchestra seats. Depending on height of those in front of you, some action in foreground may be blocked. Had to crane neck to see some upper video but that was just for a few moments. Boosters available upon request.

  • Broadway Theatre - 53rd Street, section: Orchestra R, row: T, seat: 13
  • Ambassador Theatre, section: Front Mezzanine LC, row: E, seat: 109
    Chicago
Adorably compact theater. Row E is last in front mezzanine section and had a clear, central view. Felt even closer in person than the photo looks. Close to restroom and bar on upper level. Removed a star only because the legroom is laughable. Even for short people, you have NO space for your feet. My toes were jammed up against the seat ahead. Not sure if other sections are better.
  • Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, section: Front Mezzanine R, row: E, seat: 4
    Death Becomes Her
  • Broadway Theatre - 53rd Street, section: Orchestra R, row: T, seat: 11
    The Great Gatsby
Good orchestra seats via lottery. The photo makes the overhang from the mezzanine look prominent, but it isn't noticeable once the lights go down. The very top of the stage is cut off but none of the action.
  • Broadhurst Theatre, section: Mezzanine L, row: C, seat: 13
    Boop! The Musical
Clear sight lines (unless you get someone very tall in front of you). Only the very edge of the stage is cut off by the railing but you don't miss any of the action. Any closer would cut off more. Row D and up are probably better. Mezzanine seating has an incline, which is helpful. Legroom isn't great.

  • Stephen Sondheim Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: P, seat: 108
    & Juliet
Great seats with clear view of stage. Good for short people because this row is on an incline. No issue with overhang blocking the view. Seats are a little worn and hard but the pleasant surprise was lots of legroom.
  • Eugene O'Neill Theatre, section: Boxes Right, row: A, seat: 1
    The Book of Mormon
Do not sit here! Truly obstructed. Ok view of the foreground where most action takes place. But you will miss the back and one side. A1 and A2 face the audience. B and other rows face forward and would be better. Also hit my head on a speaker right above the seat. Lottery seats so felt better about not paying full price, at least.
  • Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, section: Front Mezzanine R, row: C, seat: 18
  • Al Hirschfeld Theatre, section: Mezzanine R, row: M, seat: 20
    Moulin Rouge
Lottery seats. Good view of the action. Narrow seats.
  • St. James Theatre, section: Balcony L, row: B, seat: 19
    Sunset Boulevard
Lottery seats. High but still a decent view. Some of the video screens were tilted to favor lower sections but didn’t miss anything. Appreciated having small bar and restrooms on the Balcony level. But the restrooms move slowly at intermission and I missed the beginning of one of the best parts (the Act Two live video feed) because of it. Hustle to get out there the second Act One ends.
