  • Todd Haimes Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: E, seat: 113
    Doubt: A Parable
Amazing view of the stage. You can see the actors' faces very clearly. Highly recommend this seat. I'm not sure I'd want to sit any closer.
  • Barrymore Theatre, section: Orchestra R, row: N, seat: 16

4 1/2 Stars. Excellent view of the stage. Rows N
  • Zankel Hall, section: Mezzanine, row: 4, seat: 10
    Bomsori Kim
View of stage left is obstructed. If you're seeing a soloist this view may be fine. The sound is great.
  • David Geffen Hall, section: Second Tier Front Side R, row: A, seat: 32
New York Philharmonic tour: Beatrice Rana
Great close view of the Orch although the right section of the Orch is obstructed. This would be a good view for soloist recitals except for piano since the lid covers the pianist. I would sit here again but not for a piano recital. If you have a fear of heights, you may want to sit in the second row. There is very little legroom to pass through.
  • John Golden Theatre, section: Orchestra L, row: N, seat: 3
    Stereophonic
Nice view of the stage and you can see actors' faces clearly. The left side of the stage is slightly obstructed but you don't miss any critical moments. I think sitting more to the left side (past seats 5 or 7) would have obstructed views of the side edge of stage right for this show. Try to sit more central for this show's staging.
  • David Geffen Hall, section: Orchestra R, row: S, seat: 8
New York Philharmonic tour: Alice Sara Ott
Great view of the stage and you can see the musicians faces clearly. It's raked but if someone tall sits in front of you, you have to lean to get a good view of the soloist (piano). The view of the stage is much closer in real life than the image. Highly recommend this seat.

  • Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, section: Mezzanine L, row: D, seat: 1
    The Notebook
Fantastic view of the stage. The show is staged on 2 levels although most of the show happens on the regular stage. You can see the actors' faces clearly. Highly recommend this aisle seat.
  • Imperial Theatre, section: Front Mezzanine RC, row: C, seat: 303
    Water For Elephants
Incredible view for this show. Full view of the stage and close enough to see performers' faces. The seats are raked - a tallish person sat in front of me but my view was not obstructed. The Imperial Theater recently recoded their seat numbers because it was confusing before. You could have the same seat # in front Mezz but diff sections (1,2,etc). It's much clearer now.
  • Booth Theatre, section: Orchestra L, row: J, seat: 2
    Kimberly Akimbo
Amazing view - close enough to see performers' faces and yet far enough to see a clear view of the entire stage. Highly recommend this seat. Aisle seat that's slightly raised so no obstructions. Best view!
  • Mainstage at the New York City Center, section: Mezzanine L, row: E, seat: 9
    Jelly's Last Jam
Great view with no obstruction. You can't see the actors' faces 100% clearly but the view is still great.
  • Carnegie Hall, section: Box 14, row: 1, seat: 3
    Yunchan Lim
Great view of the stage. Highly recommend this seat unless you want the view of the keyboard.
  • Symphony Hall, Boston, section: Orchestra left, row: Q, seat: 21
Boston Symphony Orchestra tour: Yunchan Lim
Great view but if a tallish person sits in front of you, you'll have to lean over to see the stage. For orchestra view, so much is blocked and Balcony 1 might be a better option.

  • Walter Kerr Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: N, seat: 115
    Hadestown
Great view but if someone tall sits in front of you, you have to lean to the side. I think this show is better seen from the front mezzanine.
  • Hayes Theater, section: Orchestra l, row: K, seat: 5
    Appropriate
It's luck of the draw if the person in front of you is tall-ish. I had to move my head left or right to get a good view. If the person in front of you isn't tall, I'd give this seat view 4 stars. The seats are narrow with little legroom.
  • Carnegie Hall, section: Dress Circle R, row: BB, seat: 86
    Víkingur Olafsson
The view is obstructed and you have to lean forward to see the soloist. The seat is inexpensive but there are better inexpensive seats at Carnegie.
  • Carnegie Hall, section: Box 38, row: 1, seat: 3
Boston Symphony Orchestra tour: Seong-Jin Cho (featured artist)
Amazing view of the stage - view seems closer in real life. This box is at the shallow side of the "U" and is deeper than most so there's a bit more legroom.
  • St. James Theatre, section: Mezzanine C, row: K, seat: 101
    Monty Python's Spamalot
Good view of the stage and performers's faces. If someone tall sits in front of you it could block your view. There's very little legroom. Row J has a lot more legroom.
  • Barrymore Theatre, section: Front Mezzanine R, row: B, seat: 2
    Harmony: A New Musical
Amazing view - the bar doesn't obstruct the view of the stage. You can see performers' faces clearly. Highly recommend this seat.
  • Mainstage at the New York City Center, section: Grand Tier R, row: G, seat: 6
    Pal Joey
Highly recommend this seat. There's no obstruction and is the "first row" of the Mezz section so there's a lot of legroom. The image looks like you'll get a side view of the stage but in reality, it's much more centered when the curtain goes up.
  • Paper Mill Playhouse, section: Orchestra L, row: O, seat: 1
    The Great Gatsby
Fantastic view of the stage. You can see the entire stage and at the same time is close enough to see the performers faces.
