  • Shubert Theatre, section: Balcony L, row: F, seat: 21
    To Kill A Mockingbird
While far from the best seat in the house, they really undersold this seat. Mostly everything is in view and is a lot closer than the picture makes it appear. Legroom is a tad tight, but that's to be expected with most of the older Broadway theatres. Would sit here again.
  • Lena Horne Theatre, section: Front Mezzanine C, row: C, seat: 107
    Six
Incredible seat! Dead center, everything is in sight and you feel SO CLOSE to the stage! The only downside is that there is little legroom and not a lot of room to put your bag under your seat. Well worth the money! Would sit here again!
  • Ambassador Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: BB, seat: 101
    Chicago
If you have doubts about sitting this close to the stage in this theatre, let them be put to rest. The stage is very low, so you will have no aching neck at the end; the legroom is unexpectedly fantastic; and seeing the cast and orchestra this close is an extra bonus. Definitely would sit here again!
  • Minskoff Theatre, section: Mezzanine, row: A, seat: 124
    The Lion King
Fantastic seat! While it is understandable why this is not sold as a premium seat, this seat still offers an amazing, completely unobstructed view of the cast and the drummers on either side of the stage. Plus, the legroom in this theatre is absolutely luxurious!!! Would definitely sit here again.
  • Richard Rodgers Theatre, section: Rear Mezzanine C, row: H, seat: 101
    Hamilton
Fantastic seat! A bit far back, just not so far away that you can't make out any faces. There is a perfect view of everything happening onstage. Legroom is just a smidge tight. No obstructions and very well worth the money.
  • Gershwin Theatre, section: Orchestra R, row: EE, seat: 10
    Wicked
This seat is sold as a "partial view" seat, and there are definitely some bits and pieces that are missed. But you can still see 90% of everything that goes on. Plus, when members of the company sing right in front of you or right above you on the staircase, you feel even more immersed in the show. The legroom is also very good. Definitely would sit here again. WARNING: Sound levels at the curtain call can be very high.

  • Barrymore Theatre, section: Rear Mezzanine C, row: D, seat: 108
    Waitress
Right in the center. Doesn't feel too far back, doesn't feel too far forward. I would still bring binoculars if you like a closer view. The only con of this seat is that the legroom is a tad tight. Definitely would sit here again.
  • Walter Kerr Theatre, section: Mezzanine L, row: D, seat: 9
    Hadestown
Absolutely incredible seat!! Because this is a smaller theatre, you are bound to feel very close to the action wherever you sit. Legroom is quite tight in the mezzanine; but the view from this seat more than makes up for it.
  • Ambassador Theatre, section: Rear Mezzanine RC, row: C, seat: 106
    Chicago
Got this seat via TodayTix. A great central view of the cast and the orchestra with everything in view and no obstructions.
  • August Wilson Theatre, section: Mezzanine C, row: Q, seat: 113
    Mean Girls
Last row of the mezzanine. May feel far away at first, but you get used to it quickly. Everything is in view, including what is on the screens behind the company, whose expressions may require binoculars to be seen for those who like a closer view.
  • Winter Garden Theatre, section: Orchestra L, row: S, seat: 13
    Beetlejuice
You may feel very off to the side at first, but there is nothing very important that is out of view. Every bit of the action is still visible and every expression is on full display.
  • Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, section: Mezzanine C, row: J, seat: 110
    Come From Away
Second to last row of the mezzanine. This is a smaller theatre, so you are still close enough to make out expressions without binoculars. There are zero obstructions and everything on the stage is in view at all times.

  • Lena Horne Theatre, section: Rear Mezzanine LC, row: K, seat: 123
    Waitress
Second to last row of the mezzanine. A great view of all the action onstage and close enough to make out expressions (I would still bring binoculars if you like a closer view). The only thing that is out of view is the top of the "Joe's Pie Diner" sign, but other than that, no obstructions.
  • Music Box Theatre, section: Orchestra L, row: A, seat: 1
    Dear Evan Hansen
I would only sit here if you have seen the show before, but even if you haven't, not too much is out of view and you almost feel like you are onstage. The actors come very close to you and you can see every single expression perfectly.
  • St. James Theatre, section: Balcony C, row: C, seat: 111
    Frozen
High up, but if you're seeing this show on a budget, then this is the seat for you. No obstructions and a perfect view of everything. Expressions are not difficult to make out, but if you want, you can bring binoculars.
  • Marquis Theatre, section: Mezzanine R, row: M, seat: 6
    Tootsie
Last row of the mezzanine. The size of the stage doesn't make the action seem far away, but I would bring binoculars to perfectly see the expressions on everyone's faces. No obstructions and an excellent seat if you are on a budget.
  • Stage 42, section: Orchestra C, row: D, seat: 111
Fiddler On The Roof In Yiddish
Got this seat through TodayTix! Sitting this close, especially since it's a smaller theatre, you almost feel like you are onstage. You can see every single expression perfectly and every bit of the action is in view at all times. Fantastic seat for an equally fantastic show!
  • Walter Kerr Theatre, section: Mezzanine L, row: H, seat: 25
    Hadestown
Second to last row of the mezzanine. This may be on the very far left side, but the view is absolutely incredible. Since it's a smaller theatre, you feel closer to the stage and the company who brings this incredible story to life! The only thing that's out of view is the violinist during Act 2. Well worth the money!
  • Al Hirschfeld Theatre, section: Orchestra R, row: L, seat: 22
    Moulin Rouge
It may be labeled as partial view, but if you're seeing this spectacular spectacular on a budget, then you can't go wrong with a seat like this! Only a bit of the action is out of view, and the close proximity to the actors and actresses will more than make up for what you won't see!
  • The Kennedy Center Opera House, section: Tier 2 C, row: F, seat: 209
    Cats
Second to last row. Only a tiny bit difficult to make out expressions. Overall a great seat for the price!
