  • Hollywood Bowl, section: N1, row: 1, seat: 12
Hugh Jackman tour: Opening Night At The Bowl: An Evening With Hugh Jackman
Great venue and wonderful seats. This seat is center to the stage and the first row in the section so there is no one sitting in front of you. For the price point, this is a great view. I could see the stage clearly and for closeups I could watch the jumbo screens. Bring your own food and drinks to enjoy and cushions/blankets. You can also rent a seat cushion for $1 if you forget your own.
  • St. James Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: O, seat: 108
    Sunset Boulevard
The perfect compromise between affordable and great seats! I was a handful of rows further back than I usually prefer but the view was solid.
  • Longacre Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: A, seat: 108
    Dead Outlaw
Row A is actually the second row and very close for this show. There are scenes that take place on top of sets and I could only see the actor from the neck up. It's a small and high stage so you will be right on top of the action with this seat. I never complain about being too close but most will find this a touch close. Absolutely worth it for $40 rush tickets!
  • St. James Theatre, section: Mezzanine L, row: Q, seat: 1
    Sunset Boulevard
Not one of the better seats in the theatre. It's on the aisle which is always nice but that means the railing is blocking your view. It's also the second to last row in the mezzanine so you are quite far from the stage. It's a great view of the choreo but I like to be closer to see facial expressions and connect more emotionally.
  • St. James Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: E, seat: 111
    Sunset Boulevard
By far the best seat I've had in this theatre so far. Center and close with a nice rake and sight line. I was able to see perfectly between the people in front of me and felt very much connected to the emotion of the show.
  • Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center, section: Orchestra L, row: E, seat: 103
    Hamilton
Front row of the section. I think this makes it a perfect seat as no one is blocking your view and you have plenty of leg room but some may be annoyed with people potentially walking in front of you during the show.

  • Ahmanson Theatre, section: Orchestra, row: L, seat: 18
    Life Of Pi
Pretty center seat with a great view of the stage. The theatre inclines nicely by Row L making it easy to see over people in front of you.
  • St. James Theatre, section: Orchestra L, row: G, seat: 3
    Sunset Boulevard
One in from the aisle and a great sight line to the stage. Close enough to really feel the emotion from the actors without being too close. I like being on the left for this show to be near the Act II opening number and you're closer to the exit when it ends.
  • Lyric Theatre, section: Orch, row: P, seat: 12
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child
Good view of the stage and the seats are staggered well so you can see between people. One note, they will only provide booster seats to children so if you are short plan to bring your own cushion.
  • St. James Theatre, section: Mezzanine C, row: O, seat: 108
    Sunset Boulevard
I normally prefer being closer to really connect with the emotion but this was a great seat for an aerial view of the choreo. Also, the screen in this show gives a great view to everyone in the theatre.
  • James Earl Jones Theatre, section: Orchestra R, row: N, seat: 14
    Real Women Have Curves
The last row in the orchestra and right in front of the sound box. The rake is really good so I had no trouble seeing. A few rows closer and a little more center would have been preferred but a great lottery win seat.
  • Minetta Lane Theatre, section: Orch, row: C, seat: 3
Sexual Misconduct of the Middle Classes
Some may feel this seat is a little to close to the stage but I loved the intimate feel of being close. The theatre is small though so most seats probably have a pretty good view.

  • Minskoff Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: K, seat: 124
    The Lion King
Great seat! Perfect distance from the stage and near the aisle which is nice for watching the opening number.
  • Bass Performance Hall, section: Upper Gallery C, row: L, seat: 16
    MJ: The Musical
Well, the seat was dead center and had a good view of the choreo. But it was the last row of the 5th level. Way too far from the stage in my opinion.
  • Hollywood Pantages Theatre, section: Orchestra LC, row: H, seat: 305
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child
Nice distance to the stage and able to see perfectly. The rake in this theatre doesn't start until a few more rows back but thankfully I didn't have anyone sitting in front of me.
  • Music Box Theatre, section: Orchestra R, row: K, seat: 10
    The Picture of Dorian Gray
There is very little rake in this theatre and the rows are close together so your view will be dependent on the person sitting in front of you. For this show, so much is happening on the screen that it doesn't matter as much but you still need to be aware.
  • St. James Theatre, section: Mezzanine R, row: F, seat: 28
    Sunset Boulevard
Once again, I had the only tall person in the row in front of me. But since this seat is on the aisle I was able to lean towards the aisle and see pretty well. Being so far right was not as much of a hinderance as I had anticipated.
  • Nederlander Theatre, section: Mezzanine L, row: H, seat: 3
    Redwood
The perfect seat for this show! One in from the aisle and pretty center. The mezzanine is stadium seating so you won't have an issue with tall people sitting in front of you. Since a lot of the show is performed in the air and above the stage you will benefit from being in the mezzanine.
  • St. James Theatre, section: Mezzanine L, row: F, seat: 17
    Sunset Boulevard
This would not have been a bad seat except for the tree planted in front of me. Due to the angle from being on the left I was not able to see around him at all (I was even using two booster seats). Everyone else in the row had a great view, and I myself moved to an empty seat a few down and had a great view for the second half.
  • Imperial Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: N, seat: 108
    Smash
Great seat! Center with a great sight line to the stage. You are just under the mezzanine but it does not interfere with your view. A few rows closer would be nice but don't pass on this seat.
