  • James Earl Jones Theatre, section: Orchestra L, row: F, seat: 11
    Gutenberg! The Musical!
Can’t see the band, but don’t miss any of the action. Legroom is super tight and uncomfortable.
  • The Newman Theater at The Public Theater, section: Orchestra, row: L, seat: 19
  • St. James Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: E, seat: 108
    Monty Python's Spamalot
St. James has among the narrowest seats of any Broadway theater. Prepare to scrunch.
  • Samuel J. Friedman Theatre, section: Orchestra R, row: E, seat: 124
    Prayer for the French Republic
Not sold as partial view, but missed everything that happened upstage left.
  • Belasco Theatre, section: Orchestra R, row: C, seat: 8
    How to Dance in Ohio
A bit too close and high stage, so a lot of neck-craning, but no obstructed view.
  • The Shed, section: Center, row: D, seat: 15

    Purlie Victorious
4th row of theater, and first three rows are slightly higher, so heads blocking can be an issue. Fortunately the stage is high so it’s not too bad, but I’d probably go for a few rows further back. Leg room is tight.
  • Lucille Lortel Theatre, section: Orchestra C, row: L, seat: 110
Danny and the Deep Blue Sea
No rake at all to this theater, so view could easily be blocked by tall person in front of you.

    Harmony: A New Musical

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street
Great seat! Not much of a rake so somewhat dependent on height of people in front. Wouldn’t want to be any closer for this show since it’s a high stage.
  • Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, section: Mezzanine L, row: A, seat: 15
    Life of Pi
Great view, but almost no legroom with wall in front of seats, and have to lean forward to see over rail for action at the furthest downstage point.
