  • Peacock Theatre, section: Stalls, row: S, seat: 20
    A Night with Janis Joplin
Good view but awful legroom and really uncomfortable seat.
  • Cadogan Hall, section: Stalls, row: G, seat: 8
    Alex Newell
Really good seat and fairly central. Quite comfy. You have a really good view unless you have a very large person in front of you (which I did at this concert!) Although he is a West End Legend- so I will forgive him!!! Awesome acoustics as always.
  • Theatre 1 at HOME Manchester, section: Stalls, row: F, seat: 6
    My Son's A Queer
Really good seat. Near the front with plenty of legroom and comfortable seat.
  • Ambassadors Theatre, section: Stalls, row: M, seat: 16
Kathy and Stella Solve a Murder!
This seat is quite a long way back and has a restricted view due to the overhang of the seating above. However, this doesn't matter for the purposes of this show - you don't miss anything. There is very little leg room and the seats are very uncomfortable
  • The London Palladium, section: Stalls, row: J, seat: 8
    Hello, Dolly!
Good seat off to one side of the auditorium. You do miss a few things that are in the back corner, but overall it is a good view. Reasonable leg room and fairly comfy
  • Royal Exchange Theatre, section: First Gallery, row: A, seat: 45
    The Importance Of Being Earnest
This is an excellent view of the stage - but I don't think that there is a bad view anywhere as it is designed so there is very little obstruction anywhere in the theatre. The seats aren't that comfy though!

  • First Direct Bank Arena, section: 329, row: C, seat: 13
Girls Aloud tour: The Girls Aloud Show
The is a long way up in the top tier but offers a great overall view of the stage. The seats aren't that comfy but pretty standard for an arena. 2024
  • Cadogan Hall, section: Stalls, row: G, seat: 9
Bradley Jaden tour: Live in London
This is fairly central and a reasonable way back so you get an excellent view of the whole stage. The leg room isn't great.
  • The Other Palace, section: Stalls, row: C, seat: 2
    Babies The Musical
This is really close to the stage and off to the side. For this production you do feel that you are watching a tennis match sometimes having to look from far left to far right, however it is a great view, comfy seat and great leg room.
  • Lyric Theatre, West End, section: Stalls, row: G, seat: 1
    Hadestown
This seat is on the end of the aisle with no seat in front so you can stretch your legs out however it is very uncomfortable. It is sold as restricted view and you do miss some of the show on the very right hand side, but only for a short period of time.
  • Bridge Theatre, section: Gallery 1, row: B, seat: 62
    Guys and Dolls
The seat was fairly comfortable. These are high seats with a footrest available in front of you and a rail to lean on as well. Excellent view of everything going on.
  • Leeds Grand Theatre, section: Stalls, row: J, seat: 14
    Six
This is fairly central with a good view of the stage, however there is much rake at this point in the theatre. I got someone quite tall in front of me and it did obscure some of the show. I have discovered you are much better going for Row L.

  • The Courtyard Theatre at Leeds Playhouse, section: Courtyard 1, row: G, seat: 8
    Here You Come Again
Great view and fairly central. Easy to see everything that is going on without obstructions. The seats aren't very comfy though!
  • The London Palladium, section: Stalls, row: M, seat: 31
    Starkid tour: It's Starkid Innit?
Good seat and on an aisle. A little way back but still a great view of the stage.
  • Criterion Theatre, section: Dress Circle, row: A, seat: 27
Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York)
This seat is sold as restricted view due to the rail on the left hand side but it doesn't obstruct the view of the stage. There is good leg room as well, so a great seat for the price. The only downside is it is very uncomfortable.
  • Leeds Grand Theatre, section: Stalls, row: L, seat: 14
    Come From Away
Row L is great if you don't like being too close. It has great leg room and a good view, as there is a step down to the row in front.
  • First Direct Bank Arena, section: 217, row: O, seat: 4
Keane tour: Celebrating 40 years of Hopes and Fears
I love row O - it is the final row before the sponsored boxes so there is no-one behind you. This means you can stand up and dance without anyone complaining! Whilst a long way back gives a great overall view.
  • Grand Opera House, York, section: Dress Circle, row: D, seat: 19
    2:22 A Ghost Story
This seat is slightly off to the side but still has a great view. There isn't a lot of leg room if you are tall but the seats are pretty comfy. The sound wasn't great - but I don't know whether it was because it was the first night
  • Leeds Grand Theatre, section: Stalls, row: L, seat: 17
Drop the Dead Donkey: The Reawakening , The Reawakening
If you don't like being too close, Row L is the way to go. Due to a slight rise in the stalls at the back of row K, Row L sits slightly above and back from the seats in front giving a great view and plenty of legroom.
  • Leeds Grand Theatre, section: Stalls, row: L, seat: 15
House of JoJo , Johannes Radebe
I think that row L may be my new favourite row at this theatre! There is a rise just in front of this row so you can easily see over the heads of the people in front. This seat is really central too with plenty of leg room.
